Aug. 11, 2022 has gone down in Jordan Brand history as it marks the beginning of a 20-year partnership between Michael Jordan's eponymous imprint and Howard University, one of the country's most important historically Black universities.
Over the last four years, the relationship between both institutions has seen the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary outfit all of the Washington, D.C.-based school's athletic teams—save for golf—further cementing the Jumpman logo within the collegiate level while helping with efforts to recruit top talent (athletes and students) to the school.
In just a short period of time, numerous Air Jordan pairs have been designed to commemorate Howard University's history, culture, and Bison mascot. As the world awaits for another rumored Air Jordan 1 Low OG dedicated to the HBCU (Historically Black College or University), Team Jumpman is finalizing the launch of a multi-item apparel collection created as part of its partnership with HU.

As with other co-branded designs from Jordan Brand and Howard University, the collaboration's Fall 2026 apparel collection sees a heavy use of "College Navy," "Sail," and "University Red"—a trio of colors within the NIKE, Inc. universe that reflects Bison heritage.
The range of products includes at least seven different offerings: a Unisex Unstructured Cap, Women's Corset, Men's Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie, and Men's Varsity Jacket. All designs are unmistakably Howard University with callouts to the institution's 1867 founding year; classic "H" logo; and the school's "Truth And Service" official motto.
Enjoy detailed photos of the latest Jordan Brand x Howard University launch ahead. Items are currently scheduled to release via Nike.com/Jordan on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Pricing ranges from $35–$300.
