It's been a little over a month since Luka Dončić was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers. Over the stretch of nine games, the Slovenian superstar has brought his nearly-unstoppable game to LeBron James and company, helping them secure the second spot in the Western Conference. But Dončić hasn't only made an impression with his skillset – he's also wowed crowds with pairs of his latest signature model, the Jordan Luka 4.
Unveiled to the world in his first matchup against the Mavericks since being traded, the Jumpman's fourth iteration of its Jordan Luka series has been well-received thus far. As diehard enthusiasts of the European NBA star have pointed out, the silhouette has been unveiled earlier in the season than its three predecessors. While neither Dončić nor Jordan Brand have (or will) shared why this has been the case, his block-buster move served as the perfect opportunity to share new product from Michael Jordan's eponymous label.
Last night, against the New Orleans Pelicans, #77 laced up a 'Flash Crimson' edition of his fourth signature sneaker. Eye-catching without remorse, the style features a mostly-tonal makeup across its technical upper and Cushlon-assisted sole unit. Equally-vibrant 'Sunset Pulse' also claims real estate across the shoe, as does a shimmering 'Metallic Gold' throughout the midsole. Tech specs are yet to be shared by the Nike, Inc. subsidiary, but the Luka 4 seems to work as the newest Laker dropped 30 points against the struggling Pelicans.
Stay tuned for more details on 'Flash Crimson' basketball shoe, and enjoy detailed photos of the style below. While currently exclusive to Dončić, the vibrant Luka 4 should hit Nike.com before 2025 ends for $140.
