Though the Jordan 6 Rings doesn’t receive anywhere near the attention of it’s inspiring retros, it does still manage to make its mark on the market, mostly due to its holistic approach to the brand’s storied nostalgia. Not only does the silhouette borrow elements from Jordans 6 thru 12, it often sees itself dressed in colorways made famous by those retros. This time, though, it looks to its most famous hybrid brother, the Spiz’ike, for inspiration.
Though blocking is unique to the pair, the unmistakable mix of black, white, red, and green belongs to Spike Lee’s debut Jordan sneaker. Here, the color pops are presented in green ad the chenille tongue, and red at the outsole, and embroidered toe and heel branding. Everything else arrives in a monochromatic make, including heavy-duty white mesh uppers, black patent leather mudguards, and black suede heels. Midsoles are split between the two hues to complete the design.
