Jordan Brand are Releasing More Retro-Inspired Trainers

Still trying to cement their hold on trainers.

It looks like Jordan Brand are still on the quest to deliver a trainer with longevity. And just like the recent debut of the Jordan Zoom Tenacity 88, this all-new Jordan Racer 88 draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 3. The first colorway is familiar, arriving in the iconic (and identical) “White Cement” mix of white, cement grey and red.

Perhaps the reason Jordan brand struggle to claim success from trainers is because they continually draw of old designs. If people want a Jordan 3, they’ll buy that instead of the trainer version — but that’s just my two cents.
