As the Basketball Africa League (BAL) gears up to bestow its prestigious title upon a new champion, Jordan Brand has launched an exclusive collaboration to honor the strenuous season that's soon to reach its peak with the crowning of the new "King of the BAL." Two of the brand's paramount models – the Air Jordan 37 Low and Jordan Tatum 1 – come decked out in a vibrant colorway and design that pay homage to African heritage.
Anchoring the design is a robust black and yellow palette, over which a tribal pattern is artfully displayed on various surfaces and sections of the upper, both in white/black and an understated black-on-black. The BAL logo's signature colors — red, blue, green, and gold — are prominently featured on the special edition tongue labels and other embellishments.
The exclusive footwear was revealed to the athletes competing in the BAL Finals in Kigali, Rwanda. Although the timeline for a retail release remains uncertain, we'll keep you informed of any updates.
