Air Meets Alegria: Jordan Brand Unveils Brazil's 2026 Streetwear Collection

In the world of footwear, there are few styles that people in Brazil love more than Nike Air Maxes, the Shox R4, and Air Jordan. Over the years, Nike, Inc. has celebrated the South American country with a plethora of special releases and activations. Its continued commitment to the Seleção Canarinho (Brazil National Football Team) has also strengthened the sportswear company's hold on the country.

For the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament, Michael Jordan's eponymous imprint has put together a number of items—including the National Team's Away kit—that blend the Jumpman's star power and legacy with one of football's most historically-exciting forces.

The last eight months have seen a number of reports positing that Jordan Brand had prepped apparel for Brazil. An initial design for the country's Away shirt, however, was scrapped due to negative public perception. The jersey boasted a red-and-yellow color palette inspired by embers instead of the blue, green, and yellow traditionally associated with the nation. Although the scrapped design won't be worn by Brazil as it looks to win another World Cup™ trophy, some reports have stated that the Swoosh conglomerate will still sell the red shirt to minimize losses. When asked, Marcelo Trevisan: GM of Sport at Jordan Brand across the Asia Pacfic & Latin America regions said the scrapped design was just for people's memories.

Before Nike, Inc. officially reveals its on-pitch designs for all of its sponsored National Teams participating in the next World Cup™, the company has unveiled a lifestyle-friendly, street-ready apparel collection for Brazil, made in partnership with Jordan Brand.

Classic flight jackets and pants appear with co-branding, championing the Jumpman and Brazilian Football Confederation. Some are clad in a Chicago Bulls-reminiscent black-and-red medley, while others opt for yellow, blue, and green makeovers rooted in traditional Brazilian colors. Hooded sweaters and mesh shorts see MJ's iconic logo replace the A in "Brasil," cementing the partnership in the annals of sportswear history.

Five different footwear styles have been developed as part of Team Jumpman's larger Brazil Pro Pack project: an Air Jordan 1 Low, Jordan Brand Ultra, Jordan Trunner, Nike Tiempo Gato, and "Infrared 23" Tiempo Maestro.

Lifestyle-ready items begin rolling out globally via Nike.com/Jordan tonight, March 12, at 8 p.m. EST.

The collection is also available now on JD Sports, Fanatics, Champs, DICK's Sporting Goods, alongside Nike.com.
