The Jordan Brand Classic Lands in Torrance, Calif. on April 17

Michael Jordan's legacy off-the-court has arguably been more important than his story on the hardwood. From expanding Jordan Brand's performance footprint across a number of sports to assisting with the academic future of bright students in need of some financial help, the man behind the Jumpman has demonstrated a commitment to both excellence and the future.

Since 2002, the Jordan Brand Classic high school basketball showcase has brought together both elements in an event that means much more than just a few hours of exciting hoops.

The 2026 installment of the J.B.C.—its 24th edition—takes place on Friday, April 17, at El Camino Junior College, in Torrance, Calif. The event is open and free to the public, and will host top girls and boys high school talent between two games.

Some of the names participating in the next Jordan Brand Classic include:

• Boys: Maxi Adams, Qayden Samuels, Caleb Gaskins, Jason Crowe, Elijah Williams
• Girls: Kimora Fields, Autumn Fleary, Saniyah Hall, Brooklyn Hawood, Melissa Odom

Jordan Brand Family Members and past participants in the Jordan Brand Classic—namely Chris Paul and Napheesa Collier—have helped with the high school showcase's announcement, congratulating the young hoopers for earning a spot in the storied event and reminding them that "greatness is never satisfied."

The J.B.C. might've begun as a best-in-class showcase, but it's evolved into a celebration of basketball culture with community and self-expression at its center. Additionally, the ongoing initiative has reaffirmed itself as Jordan's relentless commitment to tomorrow's athletes, giving names like Carmelo Anthony and Bradley Beal one of their last big moments at the high school level.

The Jordan Brand Classic's Girls game takes place at 5:30 p.m. PDT, while the Boys take the court at 7:30 p.m. PDT. El Camino Junior College is located at 16007 Crenshaw Blvd. Early arrival is strongly encouraged.
