The Jordan Brand-only concept store known as World of Flight is opening up in another part of Japan come May 1: Osaka.
In March 2023, Michael Jordan's eponymous label open up its first World of Flight store in the Asian country—specifically in Tokyo's Shibuya district. An opening in Osaka allows fans of located more centrally in the country to enjoy "His Airness" without having to venture out to the capital. Furthermore, Osaka is already known for a strong streetwear and youth-driven fashion scene, which makes it a perfect location for a World of Flight store.
World of Flight Osaka will be located on the B1F floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO (1-8-3 Shinsaibashi-suji). Hours of operations at 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The grand opening of Jordan Brand's new store will consist of limited, exclusive Osaka product—including a graphic t-shirt. Attendees will also have access to exclusive customization options through the World of Flight Workshop program. Those who spend more than ¥20,000 (approx. $125) will receive a special clear pouch that includes a key charm and sticker (while supplies last).
A self-photo booth will be open on-site from Friday, May 1, to Wednesday, May 6.
