The Jordan Delta 3 “Jordan Collective” Drops October 28

Back in March of this year, Jordan Brandannounced its newest women’s initiative — the Jordan Women’s Collective — which is an effort to provide women with the tools, resources, and support to drive change within their communities. Thirty-three participants across Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, and Shanghai were selected for six months’ worth of retreats, panels, events, and mentorship. Each chosen individual will receive a portion of funds from a grant that will be applied to their respective communities. After their six-month program, the group will help to choose the next group of women to participate.Though it was claimed by Jordan Brand that the program would not be a “product-incubator banking on cultural capital,” it appears that the program has made its way into the brand’s main line releases — celebratory in nature — with this new Jordan Delta 3 “Jordan Collective” appearing today by way of official Nike.com imagery.Dressed in feminine hues of sails, creams, beiges, and pinks, the pair is quick to celebrate its program, with “Jordan Collective” etched onto the black midfoot caging on both lateral and medial sides. The insoles follow suit, as do the packaging and extra laces; one which reads “Stereotypes Kill Imagination”
