Although the Air Jordan signature line continues to be Team Jumpman's most-important, Michael Jordan's eponymous label continues to apply its performance expertise to different franchises. Case in point?: The all-new Jordan Heir Series 2.
A sequel to the cult-favorite Heir, the women's-exclusive basketball sneaker is back with a re-design that's intended for the speed, artistry, and intensity of the women's game. Insight from numerous athletes—including five-time WNBA All-Star Napheesa Collier—went into the Heir Series 2, ensuring the product meets standards of elite-level hoopers.
"With my footwork being an important part of my game, the Heir Series 2 is a performance shoe that provides the flexibility and stability for me to be a force on both ends of the floor," shared Collier in an official announcement for the new silhouette.

Jordan Brand's Heir Series 2 features a number of improvements from its predecessor. For starters, the sneaker has been made sleeker, placing an emphasis on running and cutting.
A new Air Zoom unit at the forefoot provides reliable responsiveness for the speed of the women’s game, which tends to see with more possessions. A thicker drop-in Cushlon 3.0 midsole also joins the mix; it's wrapped in an additional layer of foam above the outsole for improved comfort.
Elsewhere, a translucent TPU cage along the profiles provides lightweight containment. Underfoot, a rubber herringbone traction pattern enables tried-and-proven grip ready for on-court shiftiness.
