Michael Jordan's eponymous label continues to reference itself throughout its newer roster of products. The latest pair of Jordan Hydro slides makes over reference to the Air Jordan 11 "Gamma" retro first seen in December 2013.
Although the newly-surfaced style falls in line with the whole concept behind the Hydro series, it prefaces a proper reissue of the 12-year-old sneaker clad in a "Black/Varsity Maize/Gamma Blue" color scheme. As with a previously-seen "Bred" offering, the "Gamma" option provides a faithful recreation of the patent leather-donning high-top. Jumpman branding and pressure point-informed footbeds indulge in the titular blue hue, allowing for the remainder of the slide to keep things straightforward in "Black." Vibrant yellow flair animates 23 and Jordan messaging on the velcro-assisted forefoot strap and license plate, respectively.
