Former Laker Swingman Eddie Jones is enjoying a resurgence of stardom, thanks to Jordan Brand’s recent retro of 1999’s Jordan Jumpman Swift, the sneaker the 14-year veteran debuted 20 years ago.
He was, at the time, a Los Angeles Laker, before migrating to the East in a trade to Charlotte. But his short time wearing in the sneakers in Los Angeles hasn’t been forgotten, with this Laker-friendly colorway set to hit stores over the coming weeks.
Arriving in a predominately black leather upper, it’s paired with matching black suede toe caps and comfortable mesh tongues. Vibrant golden-yellow hits the side panels, which wrap under the outsole, and it’s capped off with purple piping, dual heel Jumpmen, and outsoles.
Pairs are available right now, directly from Nike.com, so scoop ’em up fast before the Lakers start to turn their season around!
