The Don C-designed Jordan Legacy 312 late last year saw some fresh inspiration for the silhouette, from corduroy/pastel preparations to a special-edition release for Chinese New Year. But now with its sights set on a fully-fledged return in 2022, the hybrid Air Jordan/Nike Air Alpha Force Low design slowly working its way back into its OG-inspired efforts. Following on from recently-revealed colorways drawing from the OG AirJordan 1 “Shadow” and a “Chicago Flag” offering informed by the OG Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” comes this Jordan Legacy 312 Low “Chicago” in an unmistakable color scheme.
Donning the OG Air Jordan 1’s scheme, the release looks to mimic the colorway as best as it can, with bright white leather uppers and midsoles, rich red overlays and outsoles, and striking black Swooshes and laces. The design’s slew of other components are blocked in a way not to disorient one from the inspiring release, with black forefoot straps, red elephant prints, and white rear clips served up in balanced proportions.
Take a peep at the official image set below, and expect to see pairs of this Jordan Legacy 312 Low “Chicago” hit select Swoosh stockists over the Spring/Summer season.
