Like the design itself, the Jordan Legacy 312 pulls in a vast variety of inspiration in its color schemes. From homages to the city of Chicago from which the silhouette shares a number code, to the Art Deco streets of South Beach, the hybrid silhouette adapts and changes with ease. Though it’s not quite clear where this next pair’s inspiration comes from, it does appear to pull in elements from classic Nike Trainers like the Tech Challenge and Nike Air Trainer 1.
Anchored in a smooth sail leather, the pair quickly livens up by way of light tan toes, Cholorphyll-like forefoot straps, and vibrant orange liners. Midsole paintwork arrives in a volt-to-teal gradient that’s reminiscent of heritage Nike tennis shoes. From there, classic Jordan 3 finishes like black rear tabs and greyscale elephant print cover the rear, while a simple sail and grey sole unit round out the design.
