The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low "Court Purple" is Available Now
After making a comeback in both its original colorway and in collaboration with Jayson Tatum, the Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low from 2002 is set to embrace the spring season with a range of fresh colorways — including this eye-catching new option perfect for Spring.
Initially launched in 2002, the low-top silhouette paid tribute to Michael Jordan's inaugural signature sneaker and gained popularity during the early 2000s, long before the emergence of hybrid designs in the sneaker world. The shoe incorporates various design elements inspired by the Air Jordan 1, such as the toe box and the oversized debossed Wings logos. Contemporary features like unstructured collars and updated sole units contribute to the distinct early 2000s aesthetic.
The forthcoming colorway takes inspiration from the recently unveiled "Chicago" edition, showcasing a black and white foundation with a splash of color — this time opting for a subdued purple shade, and replacing the black leather with a timely nubuck finish suitable for the season.
Take a closer look at this new Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low "Court Purple" below, and anticipate their arrival at select Jumpman retailers and Nike.com on July 21 for $105.
