After returning in both an OG colorway and in collaboration with Jayson Tatum, 2002’s obscure Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low will welcome in the new year with a new colorway.

Originally released in 2002, the low-top silhouette paid homage to Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker and was a hit at the turn of the century, well before the rise of hybrid models in sneaker culture. The shoe features several design elements inspired by the Air Jordan 1, including the toe box and oversized debossed Wings logos, while more modern touches like unstructured collars and modified sole units give the shoe its unique early 2000s appeal.

The upcoming colorway takes cues from the recently released “Chicago” version, featuring a black and white base with a pop of color. However, this colorway incorporates a simple grey hue instead of the traditional red accents.
