Jordan Point Lane “Aqua” Honors the Women’s Air Jordan 8

Surprisingly, the new Jordan Point Lane has been a hit with sneakerheads, despite the brand’s track record with both trainers and retro-inspired footwear. While the latter is often ridiculed (think Jordan True Flight) and the former always overlooked, fans hungry for retro wears with updated comfort have found a winner in the silhouette. Having just been released in both Infrared and True Blue iterations, the model now looks to another heritage colorway with this Jordan Point Lane “Aqua” channeling the women’s Air Jordan 8 of the same name

Once again we see a return of ballistic mesh uppers and premium leather overlays — both here set in bright white. The latter is trimmed with Aquatone, as is the forefoot and heel of the outsole. The signature grey and green accents found on the 8 play a much smaller role here, with the former hitting the tongue and heel, and the latter used sparingly on the lateral and insole branding. The pair is capped off by white midsoles and underfoot traction, as well as icy outsole pods underfoot.
