Surprisingly, the new Jordan Point Lane has been a hit with sneakerheads, despite the brand’s track record with both trainers and retro-inspired footwear. While the latter is often ridiculed (think Jordan True Flight) and the former always overlooked, fans hungry for retro wears with updated comfort have found a winner in the silhouette. Having already been released in retro-inspired schemes like the Infrared, True Blue, andBlack Cement, the model now looks to another heritage colorway — one which has had significant coverage in 2021 thus far — with this Jordan Point Lane “Cool Grey” channeling the Air Jordan 11 of the same name.

Once again we see a return of ballistic mesh uppers and premium leather and suede overlays. all of which are set in greyscale. Like the Ai Jordan 11, there’s a darker tint applied to the pops of patent peering through — a finish that is mimicked again at the forefoot detail. Bright white midsoles and icy blue outsoles are an unmistakable nod to the classic Jordan 11, and the pair is completed by complimentary white laces and branding hits throughout (it’s even got Nike Air branding in the back!)
