History has shown that almost everything in the Jordan Brand footwear catalog has, in some way, been inspired by the brand’s retro lineage. If it’s not evident by now, the new Jordan Point Lane makes it obvious. The new lifestyle option from Mike (named after his Chicago mansion) continues the brand’s penchant for borrowing elements from its most popular sneakers in both colorway and design.
though much has been said about its design language, with elements from the Three, Six, and Eleven, it’s more noticeable that the pair has jagged colorways from those models, like the Infrared 6 to the Cool Grey 11. And though this new colorway doesn’t directly nod an OG release, its white, black, and red scheme is nothing new. What is new, though is the pair’s use of textured leather uppers, a milky, icy, and solid white sole unit, and unique blocking that sees all-white at the toe, and black and red in the back.
Grab an official look at the Jordan Point Lane here below, and look for these to land alongside a handful of other retro-inspired colorways over the Summer.
