Jordan Brand has a strong history of hybridization. From the Dub Zero to the Mars 270, the brand has experimented in mix-and-match elements for over 15 years. Not many have really reached a level of notoriety amongst sneakerheads, perhaps with the exception of some fleeting moments for the Air Force Fusion series, but there has always been one that sits above the pack, the Spike Lee-designed Jordan Spiz’ike. Now, the hybrid will be hybridized again, with the addition of an Air Max 270 sole unit for two winterized options.
Arriving in brown suede and black leather respectively, the pairs both take on a classic boot aesthetic, with dark accentuations, leather trim, rope laces, and heavy-duty mesh. Debossed tongue overlays and rugged outsole add to the aesthetic, while completely murdered-out sole units provide a perfect snow-stomping finish.
Grab a detailed look at the two options here below, and expect to see these start rolling out at select Jumpman cohorts and Nike.com over the Fall/Winter seasons.
