The Jordan Tatum 1 “Barbershop” Drops May 12

The upcoming two months are set to be the most significant in Jayson Tatum's career. With the launch of his first signature shoe with Jordan Brand and the Celtics securing the first round in the Eastern Conference, Tatum is on top of the world. As for his footwear, he'll be sporting several new colorways of his Jordan Tatum 1 during the postseason, including the fresh "Barbershop" edition that pays homage to his personal story.

Drawing inspiration from the confidence boost Tatum feels after a haircut, this iteration of the Jordan Tatum 1 features a lightweight mesh upper, padded collars for ankle support, and a TPU frame that reduces weight. An uncaged Zoom Air unit in the forefoot provides a high-energy return without sacrificing court feel. Notable design aspects include the embroidered "JT" logo on the tongue, Tatum's number "0" on the heel, and barbershop-themed pull tabs. The latter theme is extended to the alternating mesh midfoot panels of red (left) and blue (right.)
