Before the Jumpman became a global lifestyle powerhouse, it was an athlete’s brand — built on versatility, precision, and performance. The Jordan Trunner was born from that philosophy in 1999, marking Jordan Brand’s first foray into cross-training footwear. Designed for Team Jordan athletes like Roy Jones Jr., Randy Moss, and Derek Jeter, it bridged basketball, football, and baseball with one unified shoe built for all-around training.
Twenty-five years later, Jordan Brand revisits that legacy with the Jordan Trunner O/S, a modern evolution of its multi-sport DNA. The new model carries forward the Trunner’s sculpted aesthetic, but updates it with a sleeker design and improved technology. Mesh uppers and suede overlays provide breathability and structure, while molded TPU cages and a Cushlon 3.0 midsole deliver comfort and stability for both gym sessions and everyday wear.
Drawing inspiration from Michael Jordan’s effortless off-court style, the Trunner O/S captures the essence of versatility — engineered for movement, but designed for modern lifestyle wear. As Jordan Brand’s roster continues to expand beyond basketball, the silhouette reclaims its place as the brand’s cross-training icon for a new generation.
The Jordan Trunner O/S “Phantom” will debut on October 9 via Nike, with “Pink Blast,” “Triple Black,” and “University Red” colorways to follow on October 11.
