Very un-Russ-like.
Few signature sneakers have captured the true energy, personality and style of their athlete more than Russell Westbrook’s Jordan Why Not Zer0.2. And while we’ve seen some wild, wild Westbrook renditions — including a super soaker-themed sample — his next rollout will look to tone things down.
The three pairs, said to debut this Summer, ditch the wild colors and patterns and opt for tonal approaches, and one with a more reserved pastel palate. The first hits on hues of greys and whites paired with desaturated volt and peach, the second arrives in a tonal particle pink complete with gum sole, and the third — the most basic of the lot — adorns and all-white makeup.
But it wouldn’t be Russ without one wild rendition, right?
Seemingly out of place is a black, pink, volt and olive offering, which incorporates a black and white camo print at the heel.
