After revealing its debut colorway in partnership with Honor The Gift, Russell Westbrook’s Jordan Why Not Zer0.5 is beginning to surface in more mainline releases — the next of which has come about today in a gaudy mix of lilac, black, orange, and blue.
The upper features Westbrook’s signature aggressive lines at the toe-box, midsole, heel, and lace collars to match his on-court mentality, while an in-vogue exposed-foam interior continues the “unfinished” aesthetic that has been a common theme in Nike and Jordan’s recent lifestyle offerings. Materials are off-kilter, too, with everything from nylon to corduroy to felt-like fabrications spotted throughout. Color placement and pigment are equally aggressive, yet balanced, with cool, calm purples and blues juxtaposed by shocking orange and blacks throughout.
A debut release date for the Jordan Why Not Zer0.5 is currently unknown, but with the 2021/22 season well underway — and with official imagery surfacing for a handful of new colorways — you would expect to learn more on its release soon.
