Air Jordan 1 Low “Washed Denim” Drops April 22

Michael Jordan is known for many things; His competitive spirit, his killer instincts, and …denim — the latter in a less favorable light. Whilst it’s true that MJ has picked up his pant game in recent years, the early part of the century lead to the GOAT copping much flack — and rightfully so. His 10XL denim featured all kinds of stitchwork, tears, and acid washes, but despite the notoriety, the material rarely made it to his footwear line. Fast forward a few years, and it’s become more prevalent, with this new Air Jordan 1 Low “Washed Denim” the latest in what is now a long line of jean-wearing releases.

Not to be confused with the adult-sized release from 2020, this pair arrives as an accompanying release to the just-previewed Air Jordan 1 Mid for kids, and it brings with it an identical mix of white, blue, and the titular textile. Here, though, the pair utilizes the weave on it’s overlaying panels — not the upper, which here is white leather. Jordan Brand then tack on bright blue Swooshes to match the laces, tongue embroidery, and outsole to complete the design.
