Customizable Air Jordan 4 “DIY” Now Arrives August 26th
Despite being an anniversary year for the Air Jordan 6, its older brother, the Air Jordan 4, is emerging as the show-stealer, with the silhouette putting on a showing in 2021. Colorways like the Lightning, Taupe Haze, University Blue, Tech Grey, and Shimmer are stealing the Six’s spotlight — and this next concept may be the most talked-about yet: The Gradeschool-exclusive Air Jordan 4 “DIY”
The blank sneaker will give the little footers the chance to color in their own palette. It’s expected to have Joshua Vides-like black outlines so the little ones can stay within the lines, and is tipped to include a pack of markers. And if you’ve got kids, you know just how much they love those damn markers.
A release date for the Gradeschool-exclusive Air Jordan 4 “DIY” has been set for August. Expect more info, first looks and store lists to arrive soon, so be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for updates.
Update 07.07.21 First looks at the Air Jordan 4 “DIY” have landed via @brandon1an. As predicted, the pair does present with coloring book-like outlines, with mid panels featuring the same Jordan-influenced graphics as seen on the accompanying Air Jordan 1 Mid. Uppers of white show a high gloss finish, indicating that these may be whiteboard-like — i.e., able to wipe away markers for continual customization. Flecked midsoles and black rubber outsoles arrive underfoot, while volt green insoles come to complete the design.Update // Official images of the Air Jordan 4 “DIY” have arrived ahead of their release later this month.
