After it flourished in the first half of 2021, all has been quiet for the Jordan 6 Rings towards the back end of the year — but it looks like that is about to change as we enter 2022, with the surfacing of this new Black/White/Multi-Color release for kids.
After the hybridized silhouette singled out some of the most treasured Jordan Brand color stories for inspiration, this new scheme omits any overt reference to colorways past, instead calling upon bright, playful colors that are suited for Spring and Summer. Split in two distinct sections, the upper of black mesh and the lower of white patent/EVA foam provides an interesting start point for what’s to come. Colors of slime green, orange, red, teal and golden-yellow are all present, mostly scattered through the pair’s brand accents and hardware. The outsole is arguably the pair’s champion feature, with a muddled collage of green, white, and teal set against orange traction pads and red cat eyes..
