Featured in the final two episodes of the 10-part Jordan saga that was “The Last Dance”, the mysterious sneaker worn by the GOAT in his sitdown interview caused a mini spark across social media. The never-before-seen silhouette was later revealed to be the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court and was subsequently sent to seeders and big-name friends of the brand, including CLOT’s Edison Chen.

The low-cut sneaker fuses two sporting worlds together, taking and overall design aesthetic akin to that of vintage tennis shoes, whilst infusing it with unmistakable air Jordan 1 DNA. With a simple tumbled leather upper overlaying a toe that’s eerily similar to the rivaling Stan Smith, the pair adds in an oversized quilted Wings panel sweeping from the quarter panel and around the rear and an OG Air Jordan 1 Low heel overlay. Completing the premium design is a thick leather tongue debossed with Air Jordan branding, metallic upper eyelets, and a sole unit ripped straight from the Air Jordan 1.

Official images of the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court have appeared ahead of its release this Fall. Differing slightly from the F&F exclusive seen in the documentary, the retail release sees the inclusion of beige suede at the tongue and heel. A release date for the pair has not yet been set, but you should expect to learn more about its release in the coming weeks.

A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court has been penciled in for December 21st, 2020. A price point has not yet been set, but it is expected to retail for around $130-$140 USD.
