Luka Doncic’s Air Jordan 36 “El Matador” Releases in August

The news is all Luke Doncic today, as we unveil the Slovenian’s Air Jordan 36 “El Matador” PE alongside his signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 1, in its debut “Neo Turquoise” colors, as well as a special edition delivered for the annual Quai 54 tournament.

Hamming up Luka’s oft-overlook El Matador nickname, the pair is dressed in striking red and gold hues that mimic traditional trade de luces costumes worn by Spanish bullfighters. Here, you’ll find the refined golden detailing delivered across the red mesh upper and collar, as well as the extended tongue overlay. The sea of Chile Red is countered by jet black trim — the midsoles, too — with golden Eclipse plates resting underfoot. Lastly, “El Matador” is stenciled in the back above matching Nike Air branding, with inner tongue tags and the rear reading the same moniker.
