The Jordan Luka 2 "Nebula" is Available Now

Dallas Mavericks All-Star guard Luka Doncic is done and dusted for season 2022-23, but that doesn't mean he's still exempt from the headlines. Though there's plenty of talk for his Mavericks' on-court woes, Luka is also lighting up the sneaker world with revelations of his second signature sneaker.

Notably, the exclusive colorways from his pre-signature lineup are transitioning over to his new silhouette, blending the past and future of his partnership with Jordan Brand.

The Jordan Luka 2’s design ethos draws inspiration from Doncic’s Air Jordan 35 “Imaginarium” PE. This past collaboration saw a unique aesthetic applied to the Jordan Luka 1. The upcoming ensemble reflects another exclusive AJ 35 color blocking from the 2021-22 NBA season, signaling a refreshing continuation of Doncic's personal palette.

Given the "Nebula" moniker, this new colorway is characterized by a vibrant fusion of pastels. The Jordan Luka 2 takes a slightly divergent path from its predecessor, with a more pronounced use of lavender shades. Embracing a playful multi-color marbling effect on its radiant overlays, the new design brings an iridescent finish, enhancing its visual appeal.

However, it's not just about the surface aesthetics. The Jordan Luka 2 also sees a comprehensive revamp of the shoe's base tooling. Everything from the laces and collar lining to the undisclosed cushioning system underfoot receives an almost all-encompassing coat of purple.

The design doesn't shy away from making bold choices. The prominent TPU stabilizers adopt a fresh peach hue, providing a pleasing contrast against the dominantly purple theme. The shoe's branded embellishments conclude with a bold, pitch-dark finish, adding a further dimension to the overall design.
