Celebrating 32 years of greatness.
Today, Jordan Brand is celebrating #MJDay. On this day 32 years ago, the NBA tried to ban Michael Jordan’s Black and Red sneakers, the “Bred” Air Jordan 1 – now known as the “Banned” pair. The date is officially being labelled as #MJDay, and today Jordan Brand relive the entire Air Jordan collection in celebration.
From a sneaker deal that started in humble beginnings – and with Nike almost losing Michael in 1988 – no one could have predicted what was in store for the future.
