Netflix Presents "Ronaldinho: The One and Only" Documentary to Celebrate Brazil's Icon

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira—best known across the globe as Ronaldinho Gaúcho—has gone down as one of the best footballers of all-time. Netflix is sharing never-before-seen looks at the Brazilian icon's upbringing in Porto Alegre; time playing for club and country; and the life he's led in retirement in a new documentary titled "Ronaldinho: The One and Only."

The series premiers on Thursday, April 16, and includes interviews with Ronaldinho himself, as well as family members, former teammates, and admirers to speak to the impact of the ex-FC Barcelona player.

Ronaldinho has remained in the spotlight since his days winning the 2002 World Cup™ with Brazil. He's proven himself time and time again. Known for his infectious smile and joga bonito style of play, the Ballon d'Or-recipient is widely celebrated by diehard football fans and casuals alike.

A longtime Nike athlete, the 46-year-old continues to help the Swoosh promote football through initiatives, product launches, and campaigns. This remains true ahead of the 2026 World Cup™, which is revving up to be ultra-important to both Nike and Brazil.
