Even more 270’s . . .
Nike Champions Think 16 Collection continues to develop the thirst amongst basketball fans, but none come more decorated than Mike’s “Last Shot” Air Jordan 14s.
After all, this year we’re celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the the iconic moment in sports history. The sneaker originally debuted during the second half of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, but it was when MJ wore them during the Game 6 vs the Utah Jazz which made them iconic. it turned out to be the last time Mike would lace up a pair of J’s for the Bulls after he hit the 20-foot game-winner with mere seconds left on the clock.
Jazz fans, still salty AF, are still saying Mike’s shot involved a hefty push-off. And while I tend to agree that it was in fact a foul, it still remains one of Mike’s most memorable moments from an incredible career at the Bulls. After all, what other shoe which was only worn on court for a mere 6 quarters holds so much weight in sneaker culture?
There isn’t one.
