Randy Moss’ Iconic Jordan Super Freak “OG” Returns in 2027
One of Jordan Brand's most memorable football trainers is reportedly making a comeback.
According to early reports, Randy Moss' iconic Jordan Super Freak “OG” is expected to return in Spring 2027, bringing back a silhouette closely associated with one of the NFL's most electrifying athletes.
Originally released in 2000, during Moss' partnership with Jordan Brand, the Super Freak stood out from traditional football footwear thanks to its aggressive design, turf-ready tooling, and unmistakable connection to the Hall of Fame wide receiver. The model quickly became a favorite among football players and collectors alike, earning a cult following in the years since its original release. Although the pair did return once in 2011 as the "Cover 3," the 2027 version is expected to return in OG form.
The returning “OG” colorway is expected to stay true to the original design, featuring the signature look that helped define the model during its initial run. While specific details have yet to be confirmed, the retro is expected to celebrate both the legacy of Randy Moss and Jordan Brand's impact on football culture during the early 2000s.
Release details remain limited at this stage, but the Jordan Super Freak “OG” is currently expected to return in Spring 2027.
