He’s just about to undertake his third NBA season, he represented his home nation at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics — and got a special-edition PE Air Jordan 36 for the occasion. Now big Rui can tack on another accolade to his short career: his first-ever collaborative retro with the Jumpman: the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 8 SE
First looks at the release courtesy of @kangofmemphis has not only given us a first look but provided us with the first known info of such release. It takes the heritage look to the extreme, appearing as some kind of artifact in scratchy Twine overlays, tonal suede uppers, and striking pops of black and red around the outsole, liner, and tongue. The latter is finished with Rui’s personal logo, and it comes housed in a special-edition box.
