Tour treads.
Former NBA MVP and triple-double king Russell Westbrook recently escaped the craziness that is NBA off-season for his fourth annual Asian basketball tour. The Brodie headed out to Seoul and Tokyo for his fans out East, spreading the love for the game through clinics, and Jordan Brand events. Of course, Russ had some tour-specific heat on feet, with special pairs of his signature Why Not Zer0.2 sneakers made to honor each city stop.
His “Seoul” PE pair features a vibrant green and blue base, with the focal point on the heel panel which comes inspired by a famous temple in the city’s Jongro District. For the “Tokyo” PE, the Brodie nods the city’s high-energy, high-visual nightlife by hitting the uppers with a dark base, covered in signature city neon signage.
Enjoy a detailed look at both pairs below — and with all of the Brodie’s PEs, don’t expect these to see a retail release.
