Mike’s infamous sweats continues to rear its ugly head with a fresh new “Sweater” aka “Nothing But Net” Air Jordan 1 Low on the horizon.
The geometric garb is infamous in sneaker circles thanks to 2015’s “Ugly Sweater” 7s, and more recently featured in the 10-part “Last Dance” series during Mike’s arrival to the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. But most memorably, it’s featured in —arguably — the best MJ commercial of all-time: his shootout with Larry Bird during a 1993 Superbowl spot for McDonald’s:
Much like the aforementioned Air Jordan 7, this Air Jordan 1 Low features a white leather base paired with geometric prints that match Mike’s fit, and comes complete with an abundance of black accents throughout, including the red-stitched leather Swooshes. Capping off the design is solid red embroidery at the tongue and heel, and the pair is complete with flat white laces, a white midsole, and a black rubber outsole.
Update 08.20.20 After selling out earlier this month at Finish Line, Jordan Brand has just released their full inventory right here on Nike.com — but they too are selling out fast.
