I rock more lows than highs. It’s just how it is when you live somewhere extremely hot year-round. But when it comes to Air Jordans, its always OG cuts over lows. Always.

Which is why I was so very, very disappointed that the upcoming duo of NRG Air Jordan 7’s are arriving in a very unpopular low format. The colorways — the Taxi in particular — are insanely hot. It’s just a damn shame they’ve done what they’ve done.

But we’re still holding onto hope. The feedback for the colorways has been incredibly positive, which could mean that Joran Brand me revisit these pairs in high versions at a later date — we hope.

And this is what it would look like.
