There’s no bigger name in sneakers right now than Travis Scott. The hype surrounding the impending release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 is all the proof you need to show that the boy from Houston is the man of the moment. This isn’t his first Rodeo, either, with this AJ6 the latest in Scott’s long run of sneaker collaborations, each seemingly better than the last. And, according to most, this is his best yet (aside from those F&F 4s, of course!)
Decked out in a military-vibed makeup, the pair arrives in a muted olive suede upper, paired with contrasting blacks and vivid red. The later serves the branding hits throughout, as well as the lace locks and Air units, while black surfaces around the tongues, midsoles, and liners. Lateral stash pockets will keep your gear stowed away safely, while glow-in-the-dark sole pods and 3M reflective detail hidden beneath the upper’s perforations will keep you visible in all conditions. Completing the design is distressed tongue trim, semi-translucent heel pulls, co-branding on the heels and lace locks, with hidden Cactus Jack branding beneath the lace overlay and hidden in the stash pocket’s flap

OG Post // La Flame flexed a first look at the collaboration pre-gram on the gram via photographer @rayscorruptedmind. With the pair featuring Trav’s signature earthy tones popped with vibrant hues, it also rocks an external stash pocket on the right lateral ankle and arrives with glorious OG Nike Air branding on the heels. He joined Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine on stage, who was also rocking a Cactus Jack Air Jordan; the upcoming Air Jordan 1. A release is, at this stage, scheduled for Spring/Summer 2019, but we’re waiting on more details. But we do know that this collaboration will be available in full family size runs — an absolute rarity in terms of sneaker collaborations.
