New Looks // Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low OG
Travis Scott and Jordan Brand will still be riding their wave into 2021 with the mid-year release of their Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”, but like years past, you can expect to see a handful of samples flexed by La Flame throughout the course of the year. Last year we saw Cactus Jack don a yellow Air Jordan 6 amongst a handful of Dunk Low heaters — and this year has started off with a bang, too; a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG
Of course, Trav is no stranger to the OG Low, delivering a mocha and black jawn back in 2019 — but this flipped Swoosh sneaker arrives more in-line with Mike’s historical colorways than the earthy tans and browns of Travis Scott, donning a Fragment-like mix of white, black, and Powder Blue. Seen here on-foot of Scott earlier today (pictured further below) we can see that the pair sports a Black Toe blocking, white leather uppers, and Powder Blue heels, liners, and outsoles. Flipped Swooshes arrive in a tonal white, while white tongues and laces complete the design.
It’s unclear if this pair will actually see the light of day, though, given Travis’ strike record of samples vs releases, we won’t be holding our breath. Should further details emerge, we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here on our official Twitter account. Until then, you can take a look at the pair below, along with a Photoshop mock-up to give you a better visual of the sneaker.
Update 01.29.21 // Sneaker-insider @wavegod_thelegend has posted up a teaser production image (further below) of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG, indicating that a release may well be on the way. While nothing is yet confirmed, you’ll want to make sure you keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for developments.
Update 02.12.21 // A fresh look at La Flame’s latest Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration has revealed that the pair is, in fact, in collaboration with Fragment design. As seen from the added back shot below via @lefunkyfantom, Fujiwara’s double lightning logo is stamped in the rear, while Fragment’s signature production text returns to the lateral side of the midsole. As of the time of publication, there is still no release date planned.
Update 04.20.21 // According to sneaker-insider @zSneakerheadz, the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low OG will release this Fall. At this stage, details on the release are vague but expect the blanks to be filled in over the coming weeks.
