Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 Collaboration Will Release on April 26th
Coming fresh off his Air Jordan 4 collaboration, Cactus Jack is back in the saddle with Jordan Brand, this time cooking up a fresh new take on the Air Jordan 1.
Travis Scott, the hottest commodity in today’s youth culture is due for a MASSIVE next few months. The Houston appear will not only be performing on literally the world’s biggest stage at the NFL Halftime show, he’s also still punching out his long-winded, must-see sold-out Astroworld tour. Add to that his projects with Jordan Brand, including the Air Jordan 33, Air Jordan 1 Low and these reconstructed Air Jordan 1s; it’s a hell of a ride for La Flame in 2019.
Starting off, this eccentric creation boasts an enlarged reverse Swoosh on the medial side, with the belly of the logo disappearing into the midsole. The “Cactus Jack” logo is also featured behind the Swoosh on the medial side, while the heel displays a debossed face logo. Additionally, the ankle reveals a double-layered construction with sporty stitching on the exterior, while a supple tumbled leather and brown suede pair up to construct the upper of the Air Jordan 1.
First looks have surfaced today courtesy of @hanzuying. which give a detailed look at the release, which, at this stage is scheduled for April, but rumors are floating around for a Quickstrike release to occur during La Flame’s Superbowl Half-time performance. al-la Justin Timberlake’s JTH release from 2018.

A release is still expected for April, but official images surfacing today could indicate an earlier release, so stay tuned. Update 02.14.19 // After the sneaker’s surprise launch during Scott’s Grammy performance, an official release date has been confirmed, with pairs slated to arrive on April 26th, for $175. Stay tuned for more details, including a list of retailers raffling off the kicks!
