Where to Buy the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Freeze Out”
Update 10.28.20 // First they said it was going to be a Top Three 2.0 — then they said it would be a Singles’ Day release — but all the speculation around the traps has been completely wrong. The mystery AJ 1 release for November 11 is, in fact, this just-previewed Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 “Freeze Out”.
First looks leaking online today show the pair, which arrives in traditional Chicago blocking, featuring an all-over aged-look effect, with weathered red leather uppers and a sail midsole setting the scene for the sneaker. The etched in MJ signature makes the pair feel that it is an OG relic, though its co-branded insignia on the heel and Star graphic stowed beneath the translucent outsole modernize the edition a touch.
Update 11.02.20 // Amidst rumors of sneakerheads booking travel to Orlando for later this month, Trophy Room’s Marcus Jordan has advised that a release for November — or 2020, for that matter — is not on the cards. Rumors are floating around that it pays homage to the 1985 All-Star game in Indiana, in which Mike made his first appearance. The Stars of the sole mimic that of the uniforms, while the insole insignia is drawn direct influence from the 1985 All-Star logo. The 2021 All-Star game is expected to play in Indiana once again, so It’s likely that these will see a release over that weekend — if the game goes ahead. there’s also information materializing on its availability, with confirmation that the release will be limited to a 12,000 pair production, as seen on the product tags further below.
