Union x Air Jordan 4 Confirmed for 2020 Release

Following the success of their debut duo of Air Jordan 1s in late 2018, the rumors of a follow-up Union x Air Jordan collaboration didn’t take long to surface, with owner Chris Gibbs spilling the beans just a few months later in a podcast in January of 2019. Since then, the murmurs have been low, the speculation silent, but it was always in the back of mind for hypebeasts and Jordan enthusiasts alike. The whispers spiked again when Gibbs said in an interview with Complex that they’ve been “circling the wagons around the Jordan 4” for its next collaboration. Now, the official Twitter account of the LA-based retailer has dropped even more hints, confirming a release of a Union x Air Jordan 4 for 2020 — and they also tell us to expect it “soon”, which you can see in the tweets further below.

Both Jordan Brand and Union have kept things under heavy lock and key, with not one single sighting or style code having surfaced. Will it continue to explore their cut/sew theme? Or will it be something entirely new? We’ll have to wait and see. So in the spirit of the former, we’ve whipped up a speculative Black/White Cement Air Jordan 4 hack-up to see what the release could potentially be — and we’ve gotta say, these would be a nice little collab, should it look anything like this.

As always, keep your eyes locked on our Twitter Feed for further updates, which, with Union getting a little vocal about it, could be coming over the next few days and weeks. Stay tuned for more.

In related news, we took the Union x Air Jordan 1 for a spin in our Concept Lab and came out with two banger colorways: a Chicago/Royal, and Black/White-Shadow.
