After a handful of first looks and speculative drop dates, Union has officially unveiled its imagery and release schedule for the UNION x Air Jordan 4 “Tent & Trail” pack. Both pairs will be releasing via in-store and online raffles, with the former taking place across June 20th and 21st. The online raffle for both pairs will be held for two hours only on June 20th, from 9 am to 11 am PDT. A wider release for the Desert Moss pair is expected to land on SNKRS on June 26th. It has been revealed by early sneaker acquirer @repgod888 that the mystery release in question will in fact be a third (and fourth) Air Jordan 4 colorway, the UNION x Air Jordan 4 “30th Anniversary”

Arriving in much the same styling as last year’s duo, first looks at the “30th Anniversary” Taupe Haze effort show a fawn suede and mesh upper atop a sedentary sail sole unit. Clear wings return, as does the signature yellow UN/LA lateral tag and pre-folded tongue. Accenting colors are unique — and likely hold some sentimental value to the imprint — arriving in aqua and jade at the liners, lower eyestays, and heel piece. Frontman-branded hangtags read 1991-2021 and come cut in a road sign design to complete the pair. The second option, which is pegged to be the wider retail release, has just been confirmed to be the previously-reported Air Jordan 4 “Desert Moss”, complete with traditional “Grape” accents of purple and teal.

OG Post 03.09.21 // Celebrating a milestone 30th anniversary in 2021, Los Angeles streetwear store Union has come on in leaps and bounds since Chris Gibbs took the reigns in 2010. Of course, the store, which is touted to be the world’s first streetwear retailer, has had a cultural impact on a grassroots level in New York and LA for decades, but only recently has the brand achieved world-renowned notoriety for delivering two of the best Air Jordan 1 collaboration is history back in 2018. Their sophomore effort on their two Jordan 4s last year was divisive, but nonetheless sold out in seconds. Now as it appears, Chris Gibbs will be reuniting with Jordan (amongst many, many others) to celebrate the store’s big 3-0.

Confirmed by way of the brand’s official web blog, the retailers have listed the likes of Stussy (their co-founding brand), Acronym, BAPE, Fear of God, OFF-WHITE, Nike, and more for the collaborative projects in 2021, but it’s the ever-excitable mention of the Jumpman that’s garnered public interest. Though it was not confirmed if the collaboration will be a clothing or footwear release (or perhaps even both) after the success of their first two drops, it wouldn’t be out of the question to see a third footwear delivery from Gibbs and co.
