Next to carry that torch is this Air Jordan 1 Mid, which receives a brand new makeover. The Mid’s palate has been kept simple, arriving in all-black — sans the white outsole — with the sneaker’s use of materials granting the shoe its character. The leather overlays have been frosted over, leaving the cowhide with a gritty-glittery appearance, allowing each speckle to shimmer in the light. But the pizzaz doesn’t finish there — wrapping the heels is a fine microsuede with heavy inset debossing of the Jordan Wings logo. It’s underlays arrive in tumbled leather, and it comes capped off with nylon tongues and white Jumpman tongue branding.
