It’s been teased for some time now, but 2022 will finally see a release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim” — but it comes attached with some news that might send half the sneaker community into an uproar.

Sneaker-insider @zSneakerheadz has taken to the ‘gram to confirm the news that we will finally be receiving a denim-clad Air Jordan 1 High after years and years of leaked samples. Finally, in Summer 2022 we’ll be reviving a Denim Air Jordan 1 — but yes, as you’ve probably guessed, it will be a women’s exclusive release, and it’s unclear if sizes will be extended.

Details around the design, though, have been confirmed by the source, who puts the pair pretty close to our mock-up below, with worn denim blue overlays in classic Kentucky blocking. Pastel blue hues will hit the outsoles and tongue tags, and will also be present on the pair’s second set of laces. The release will also be completed by special forefoot bling rings of metallic gold.
