Mike Goes Gucci Green on the Luxe Jordan Mule

Despite Michael Jordan's final retirement from professional basketball more than 20 years ago, his winning legacy continues to inspire Jordan Brand's lineup of products. Ahead of summer, the eponymous imprint has developed the Women's Air Jordan Mule, a lifestyle-oriented silhouette.

At quick glance, the newly-surfaced design could be mistaken for a style offered by other popular womenswear labels across the globe. Close inspection, however, reveals Air Jordan branding on the penny loafer-reminiscent slot and insole.

The Women's-exclusive offering is set to debut in a versatile "Black/Metallic Silver" color scheme. Its execution presents glossy leather across the upper, while the exaggerated, platform sole unit reverts to a matte finish. Together, both halves create a bold, fashion-forward look that differs from the performance-basketball range historically associated with Jordan Brand.
