Womens Air Jordan OG “UNC” Arrives May 15th

The biggest surprise reissue of 2020 so far has been the return of 1998’s Air Jodan OGwomen’s silhouette. Out of nowhere, celebrating no special anniversary or occasion, the brand’s first-ever women’s sneaker was welcomed with warmth from the sneaker world when it’s OG White/Black colorway dropped earlier this year. Then, after a few GRs, Melody Ehsani brought her flavor to the silhouette for one hellova collaborative effort. Now the silhouette looks to revert back to the brand’s heritage, having just surfaced in a Jordan Brand-staple “UNC” colorway.

The pair provides a perfect balance by sandwiching the all-white leather upper between University Blue lining and outsole trim. The blank upper leaves the contrast in the hands of its wavy-yet-aggressive overlays, whilst heel embroidery and tongue branding is left for blue and metallic silver finishes. The only other color to hit this release is the brand’s iconic Jumpman, which arrives in black here on the midsole and insole.

A release date for this “UNC” Air Jordan OG Women’s did not accompany the official image set below, but you can expect pairs to land soon at stores like Finish Line and Nike.com for $140 a pop.
