Ronnie Fieg reunites with Clarks Originals for Spring 2026, introducing a new silhouette under the 8th St label: the Bristol Loafer. The release marks a first for Clarks Originals, as Fieg works with the heritage footwear brand to reinterpret a classic loafer through elevated materials and updated tooling.
The collection features four distinct Bristol Loafer colorways, each crafted with premium construction and subtle detailing. Leading the lineup is the Maple Suede edition, designed with a traditional penny-style strap and finished with a custom commemorative 8th St coin. The use of spring-ready suede gives the pair a softer seasonal edge while maintaining the structure expected from Clarks’ longstanding design language.
Two leather options follow in Black and Brown, with the Black leather version offered as a United States exclusive. This pair is distinguished by gold horsebit hardware across the vamp, lending a more formal finish to the otherwise minimal silhouette. A fourth iteration arrives in croc-embossed Black leather, removing the traditional strap entirely for a cleaner, uninterrupted upper.
All four styles are finished with 8th St embossing on the insole and sit atop Vibram tooling, a notable update that enhances durability and traction underfoot. The addition of Vibram outsoles signals a balance between heritage craftsmanship and modern functionality. Each pair is packaged in a custom 8th St box, reinforcing the collaborative identity of the project.
The Bristol Loafer expands the ongoing partnership between Fieg and Clarks Originals into new territory, moving beyond past reinterpretations and introducing a silhouette not previously seen within the Clarks archive. The result is a refined, seasonal offering that blends traditional loafer styling with contemporary updates.
