Li-Ning’s basketball roster recently received a major boost with Stephen Curry joining the brand, but Jimmy Butler is already moving into the next chapter of his own signature line.
During a recent outdoor workout, Butler debuted his fifth signature sneaker with Li-Ning. The upcoming model follows the JB 4 and continues a partnership that began in 2020, when Butler signed with the Chinese sportswear company after leaving Jordan Brand.

The new low-top arrives with a predominantly white upper covered in red, orange, and blue graphics. The colorful overlays stretch across the midfoot and heel in a brushstroke-like finish, while additional branding appears on the tongue and lateral side.
Underfoot, the shoe features a sculpted sole unit built for performance, with a streamlined shape suited to Butler’s physical, two-way style of play. The photos also reveal a wide base and reinforced areas around the forefoot and heel.
Li-Ning has yet to announce the shoe’s official name, technology, price, or release date. However, with the model confirmed as Butler’s fifth signature sneaker, it is expected to launch as the Li-Ning JB 5.
More details on the Jimmy Butler 5 are expected to surface as Li-Ning begins its official rollout.
For more on the latest basketball sneakers, Caitlin Clark's first signature sneaker is dropping later this year.
